The Rickmers Newbuilding department has planned and supervised the construction of more than 80 vessels and has extensive experience with shipyards in China and Korea. Another 50 vessels are currently under supervision.

High technical standards on our vessels are our prime concern. By maintaining high quality standards we are able to reduce maintenance and service, and thus the operating costs of our vessels.

The Rickmers Newbuilding department is in charge of drawing approval and the selection of suppliers for our projects. For every project a site office team is established at the yard in order to supervise the construction of the vessel in close cooperation with the purchaser.
